This time next Saturday (September 1) you should be getting ready to attend Jack Grad's Harvest day.  I hear he has requested the day be a fine one.  Cool with sunshine, a slight breeze and lots of friends.  If you have been to the harvest day before, you will have notice the well built stooks standing in the field.  I have discovered the secret of their construction.  Jack goes to the Motherwell Homestead on their binding and stooking day to practice!  Here is the proof.

Didn't he do a fine job?

While you are at the harvest day,  be sure and stop to wish the President of the QVHPC a happy birthday.  The official day is September 3rd.  Ask him for one of the club's cards.  It gives you all the important information you need!
